BioAuthorizeLAN removes latent fingerprint images that may be left on the scanning window from a previous user. This gives more accurate readings and prevents abuse of leftover fingerprints.

The fingerprint template and user data are protected internally using a 128-bit encryption.
Privacy - When a finger is scanned, only the minutia data extracted from the fingerprint is stored in the form of an encrypted 128-bit binary template. The image of the fingerprint itself is not saved. While the template is sufficient to perform the matching function, original fingerprint cannot be recreated from it.
